The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers held their 2017 Leadership Summit in Windsor, Ontario, and Detroit, Michigan. The program focused on “creating the future” and included major announcements to make the region a worldwide center for the development and deployment of connected and autonomous transportation; open export promotion offices in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Korea; and launch a regional tourism marketing program to attract visitors from China.
