July 25, 2026 - Erie set to join Great Lakes cruise map in 2028

At a recent press conference, Victory Cruise Lines announced plans to add Erie as a port of call beginning in July 2028. This decision comes after several years of planning and collaboration among the Erie-Western PA Port Authority, Victory Cruise Lines, VisitErie, and other local and regional partners working to bring cruise passengers to Erie. 

As Great Lakes cruising continues to grow, Erie will offer passengers a unique mix of maritime heritage, cultural attractions, and outdoor recreation, including Presque Isle State Park, Hagen History Center, and Erie Maritime Museum. The addition of Erie further strengthens the Great Lakes cruise network while creating new opportunities for tourism, economic development, and community engagement.
